How much does enclomiphene cost per month?

There is no single all-in US price. Among programs that explicitly advertised compounded enclomiphene on 21 August 2026, the public price claims started at $42 a month before Hone's required membership and reached $199.99 for a one-month Maximus plan.25 Hims published prepaid three-, five- and ten-month terms at $199, $139 and $99 a month, respectively, plus a $94 initial lab kit that it says is credited toward treatment if the patient is eligible.1 Henry's legal programs page listed $129 a month including compounded enclomiphene capsules and labs.4 Those numbers are not interchangeable because some are medication-only prices, some require membership and some require months of payment upfront.

No enclomiphene product is FDA approved in the United States. The services reviewed here offer compounded products, which FDA does not review before marketing for safety, effectiveness or quality.6 There is therefore no FDA-approved enclomiphene list price or approved generic benchmark.

A direct pharmacy quote is a different product from a care program. CareFirst lists enclomiphene capsules "as low as $54.95," but its public page does not show that the minimum is a 30-day supply. The page's $19.95 refrigeration charge applies to specified refrigerated dosage forms, not the capsule listing.7 Ask for strength, quantity, shipping and refill terms before converting any pharmacy price into a monthly cost.

What did current enclomiphene programs publish?

This snapshot separates actual enclomiphene programs from testosterone-only services, unverified listings and direct pharmacies. We recorded public pages on 21 August 2026 and did not test a checkout. UNKNOWN means a component was not publicly observable. Where a company's own pages conflict, both figures stay visible rather than being resolved by guesswork.

What cash is actually at risk?

A monthly equivalent hides the part of the decision that matters at checkout. The useful comparison is cash due now, total committed cash, early-exit terms and separately billed monitoring.

PeterMD advertises enclomiphene, but its live product endpoint was unavailable during this check; older indexed prices are not treated as current.11 Male Excel advertises enclomiphene where appropriate but publishes no medication price; its observable $99 initial charge and $99 monthly membership do not create an enclomiphene total.12 Other public intake, laboratory and treatment pages reviewed did not verify both an enclomiphene offer and a current price, so they do not belong in a verified enclomiphene price range. Henry is included because its separate legal programs page explicitly names compounded enclomiphene, even though its consumer landing page does not and its contract language conflicts.4

Why do prices vary?

The providers advertise products with the same named active ingredient, not necessarily identical finished formulations. Dose, pharmacy, included care and commitment all change the price. Strut's dose tiers make one part visible: $79 at 6.25 mg, $99 at 12.5 mg and $119 at 25 mg.10 Hims instead attaches its lowest equivalent price to a ten-month prepayment and initially charges for a lab kit, with a treatment credit stated for eligible patients. Maximus attaches its lowest price to a twelve-month commitment.

Labs can be a separate product. Maximus publishes baseline options from $19.99 to $115 and says follow-up labs are charged separately unless qualifying outside results are used.8 Hone ties enclomiphene to Plus or Premium membership. Its tier pages currently produce starting recurring totals of $177 or $198 before initial testing, while its product page creates a tier conflict that should be resolved before payment.5 A low medication sticker does not establish a low total cost.

Does insurance cover enclomiphene?

Coverage is plan specific, not categorically impossible. Many telehealth offers are cash-pay, and some benefits exclude compounds or non-FDA-approved ingredients. Medicare Part D guidance allows coverage of eligible Part D components in a compound, and commercial plan documents show both exclusion policies and circumstances where covered ingredients can qualify.1314

Ask the pharmacy benefit manager to check the exact prescription, ingredient or product code and dispensing pharmacy. Hims states that its service is cash-pay and that it does not submit commercial or federal insurance claims.9 That policy describes Hims, not every benefit plan. What costs come on top of medication?

Count baseline testing, repeat testing, provider visits, membership, shipping and the cost of a commitment you may not use. Testosterone deficiency is diagnosed from compatible symptoms and consistently low testosterone confirmed on two separate morning tests, not from one result alone.1516 A provider may bundle those collections or bill them separately, so two guideline-recommended measurements do not automatically mean two separate retail lab charges.

Monitoring schedules are provider specific because enclomiphene has no FDA-approved label for men. Maximus publishes baseline, month 1, month 3 and annual testing; Hone's Plus materials publish quarterly monitoring.58 Hims publishes follow-up labs at months 3 and 15, at no additional cost, with the schedule resetting after a dose change.1 These are commercial protocols, not a universal clinical standard.

How do you avoid overpaying?

Ask for six numbers in writing: cash due today, total committed cash, medication at the prescribed dose, baseline labs, follow-up labs and shipping. Then ask what happens if the clinician declines treatment, the dose changes, you stop early or the company changes pharmacy. If one answer is missing, keep the total marked UNKNOWN.

A prescriber authorized under applicable state law may choose to write a patient-specific prescription, and a compounding pharmacy must be authorized to dispense or ship it to the patient's state. Price comes after diagnosis. Enclomiphene's mechanism requires a responsive hormonal and testicular axis. High LH and FSH suggest primary testicular dysfunction and generally make a SERM a poor fit; low or inappropriately normal values support a secondary pattern, but no single result guarantees benefit.
